But I really can't figure out why, according to this ESPN.com report (by Peter Gammons and Buster Olney), they want to sign a comic book artist best known for his work on Ghost Rider.Bill James is a Senior Advisor on Baseball Operations for the Sox, so I assume they know what they're doing, but still. This is just weird.
